Immarketprovement situation in Pakistan's cotton 


The local market remained stable on Tuesday with good trading volumes. Cotton analyst Naseem Usman said that the price of cotton in Sindh is Rs 19,000 to Rs 22,000 per head. Cotton rates in Punjab range from Rs 19,000 to Rs 22,000 per head. The rate of footi in Sindh ranges from Rs 6,500 to Rs 9,000 per 40 kg. The rate of footi in Punjab is Rs 7,500 to 10,500 per 40 kg.

He also informed that 600 bales of Dherki were sold at Rs.22,600 per head, 400 bales of Miyan Wali at Rs.22,000 per head, 400 bales of Sadiqabad at Rs.21,500 per head, 3600 bales of Khanpur at Rs.2 per head. Rs 21,500 to Rs 22,000 per head, Layya 200 bales Rs 21,800 per head, Marrot 400 bales Rs 21,500 per head, Fort Abbas 1200 bales Rs 21,000 to Rs 21,500 per head, Sahiwal 200 bales Rs 21,000 per head, Yajman 40 20,000 bales were sold at Rs.20,000 per head, 800 bales of Harunabad at Rs.19,700 to 19,800 per head, 600 bales at Haasilpur at Rs.19,500 per head and 300 bales at Rs.19,700 per head. Burewala bales were sold at Rs 19,000 to Rs 20,500 per head.

The spot rate remained unchanged at Rs 21,800 per head. The rate of polyester fiber was increased by Rs 5 and was available at Rs 345 per kg.
