CCI Keeps Cotton Prices Steady as Weekly Auction Sales Cross 55,400 Bales
The Cotton Corporation of India (CCI) did not make any changes to its cotton candy prices for the week ended 03 July 2026 . Strong participation from textile mills and cotton traders was witnessed in the auctions, resulting in total weekly sales of about 55,400 bales from the 2025–26 crop season.
Day-wise Auction Performance
June 29, 2026 (Monday):
CCI recorded total sales of 4,800 bales during the day. Mills purchased 3,100 bales, while traders lifted 1,700 bales.
June 30, 2026 (Tuesday):
Total sales rose to 14,000 bales. Mills accounted for purchases of 5,000 bales, whereas traders bought 9,000 bales.
July 01, 2026 (Wednesday):
The highest sales of the week were recorded on Wednesday, with 14,300 bales. Traders led the buying activity with purchases of 10,100 bales, while mills bought 4,200 bales.
July 02, 2026 (Thursday):
CCI sold 13,200 bales during the day. Mills purchased 7,500 bales, while traders lifted 5,700 bales.
July 03, 2026 (Friday):
The week concluded with total sales of 9,100 bales. Mills purchased 5,100 bales, while traders remained active with purchases of 4,000 bales.

With the latest auctions, CCI's cumulative cotton sales for the 2025–26 season have reached 80,12,900 bales.
