Indian Rupee Falls 15 Paise to Close at 94.94 Against US Dollar.
The Indian rupee weakened by 15 paise against the US dollar on Friday, closing at ₹94.94 per dollar.
The domestic currency opened at ₹94.79 against the US dollar and fluctuated throughout the trading session. It eventually closed at ₹94.94, down 15 paise from the opening level.
At close, the Sensex was down 125.56 points or 0.17 percent at 73,123.83, and the Nifty was down 87.65 points or 0.39 percent at 22,600.00. About 797 shares advanced, 3275 shares declined, and 114 shares unchanged.
