On Wednesday the Indian Rupee higher by 27 paise to close at 95.27 against the US dollar, after opening at 95.54 in morning trade.
At close, the Sensex was up 64.42 points or 0.09 percent at 73,983.18, and the Nifty was down 27.15 points or 0.12 percent at 23,214.95. About 1383 shares advanced, 2653 shares declined, and 140 shares unchanged.
