Rupee Rises 42 Paise to Open at 96.14 Against Dollar.

Rupee opened higher at 96.14/$.

The Sensex was up 302.14 points or 0.40 percent at 76,361.91, and the Nifty was up 23.05 points or 0.10 percent at 23,790.50.

On Monday, the Indian rupee opened 42 paise higher at 96.14 against the dollar, while it had closed at 96.56 on Friday.
