Rupee rises 5 paise to 83.54 against US dollar in early trade

In early trade, the rupee climbs 5 paise to 83.54 against the US dollar.

 

Indian equity benchmark indices, Sensex and Nifty 50, opened higher on Wednesday. The indices rose 0.6% each in early trade led by gains in tech stocks. The rupee rose 5 paise to 83.54 against the US dollar in early trade.
