On Tuesday, the Indian Rupee declined by 22 paise to close at 95.27 against the US dollar, after opening at 95.05 in morning trade.
At close, the Sensex was up 382.50 points or 0.52 percent at 74,649.84, and the Nifty was up 100.95 points or 0.43 percent at 23,483.55. About 2222 shares advanced, 1803 shares declined, and 165 shares unchanged.
