Pakistan Weekly Cotton Review
The cotton market witnessed a mixed trend last week amid low trading volumes. In the domestic cotton market, textile mills showed little interest in buying cotton during the last one week, while trading remained sluggish despite efforts by ginners to offload their cotton stocks.
However, cotton sowing has already started in the low-lying areas of Sindh province and if the weather remains favourable, partial arrival of cotton will start by the end of May.
