On Tuesday the Indian Rupee lower by 09 paise to close at 94.66 against the US dollar, after opening at 94.57 in morning trade.
At close, the Sensex was down 249.70 points or 0.33 percent at 76,478.67, and the Nifty was down 80.50 points or 0.34 percent at 23,865.75. About 2250 shares advanced, 1805 shares declined, and 173 shares unchanged.
