The Indian stock market opened with a decline for the third consecutive day on Wednesday, September 2. Both major indices, Nifty and Sensex, opened in the green.
The index opened at 76,471.32 against Tuesday's close of 76,944.28. The Nifty 50 was down 228.45 points, or 0.95%, at 23,827.35.
