Rupee opens 4 paise lower against the dollar at 94.51
Compared to Thursday’s closing level of 94.47, the rupee opened 4 paise weaker at 94.51 against the dollar.
Indian equity benchmarks opened lower on Friday. In early trade, the Sensex fell by 227 points, while the Nifty dropped by 104 points. This follows a 2,000-point surge in the Sensex the previous day.
