On Tuesday, the Indian rupee declined by 29 paise to settle at 95.68 against the US dollar, after opening the session at 95.39.
Meanwhile, domestic equity markets ended lower. The Sensex dropped 479.26 points, or 0.63 percent, to close at 76,009.70, while the Nifty fell 118 points, or 0.49 percent, to finish at 23,913.70.
